Ever wondered what your teachers did when the afternoon bell rang and packed their suitcases up for the day? Allow this harmonious group of Minneapolis teachers, better known as Graveyard Club, to give you a little insight. Graveyard Club has released their newest single, “It Hurts”, which comes straight off of their upcoming full-length, Goodnight Paradise (out June 28th). If you’ve ever loved and lost yourself, or if you simply need mellow music for your summer night commutes, this song is for you.

The band is known for lyrical narratives that bring out the poet in all of us, which “It Hurts” showcases effortlessly. Their soft, melodic synths make you nostalgic for a life you may not have even experienced yet. “It Hurts” has a cinematic quality to it as well, making it the perfect soundtrack to your daydreams. Light and ethereal meet dark and dreamy in Graveyard Club’s musical curriculum, making them easy to love no matter what your scene is. They are the definition of a band that just “feels right”.
